DISKOKAINE  has been living in NYC, in Berlin and now again in Vienna. He has done records with Princess Superstar, Patrick Pulsinger and LegoWelt. And his Minilabel DISKOKAINE is one of the rarest thing to find in current Disco. In fact the only thing that got big is SALLY SHAPIRO. Discovered by DISKOKAINE.

After Diskokaine released his first 12inch on Gomma 2 years ago now now here comes the new single: A heavy EURO PIANO DISCO ANTHEM with a heavy 90ies Rave attitude. Including a CHRISTOPHER JUST MegaMix. (His debut album will be out on Gomma end of 2009)

BERLIN, Pool Gallery, Tucholskystrasse 26.6 – 7.7.2008

Featuring works by The SMALPAZE aka Borsche und Kartsolis and special guest MISHA HOLLENBACH from P.A.M.

Berlin’s POOL Gallery invited us to do a MONDOGOMMA exhibition in summer 2008. The POOL guys are specialized in these new things in new alternative art. Recently they did ARKITIP, MIKE MILLS and that kind of stuff. So it was nice to have this opportunity. Our illustrators SMAL and PAZE did a lot of obscure hight level enlightment shit. Big size prints, small size visual gimmicks. And we had a special guest illustrator: MISHA HOLLENBACH from P.A.M. from Melbourne contributed some big posters , too. We did a nice Vernissage there and afterward a big GOMMA Party at Cookies with MUNK, Telonius, Kaos…Yeah!

And yes: We released a new Amore Poster Magazine along the exhibition. (Including the P.A.M. stuff)

ED BANGER Records chief BUSY P is a huge fan of MUNKs piano disco anthem LIVE FAST DIE OLD (from MUNK’s new album “Cloudbuster”).. When Busy heard it for the first time he immediately wanted to make an own version of it. And here it is: the first ever ED BANGER All Stars Remix! And it’s banging!!

The flip side features an deep space techno extravaganza by Danish discogrungers WHOMADEWHO. Their first release since two years. And it’s a genrehopping master piece. Starting with a easy Minimal beat . Developing into a 6/8 s Shaffel Techno and ending up as intense Technodiscorock. Amazing.

Third Remix is a BAILE FUNK remix by Rio de Janeiro’s underground DJ number one: THE AMAZING CLAY.
