WhoMadeWho’s debut album is out since mid of sept and the band gets quite a good response. Soulwax and Mylo both asked WhoMadeWho to support them on their UK tours and the single SPACE FOR RENT gets played a lot. The Rapture liked it, too. They asked for doing a Remix and here it is: We called it FANTASY HOUSE. Flipside: The instrumental version of the DIRT CREW Rmx + A little TOMBOY beat.

Long awaited new single by Swiss born/Berlin based DJ, painter and disco producer HEADMAN.

After his debut album on Gomma in 2001, an album under his alias MANHEAD and remixes for nearly every credible major band you can imagine (FRANZ FERDINAND, THE RAPTURE, MYLO, ANNIE, RADIO 4, SCISSOR SISTERS, RÖYKSOPP….) he finally is prepared enough for his most important project: the second HEADMAN album. Taken from MUNK’s highly acclaimed Debut album Aperitivo. These are 3 remixes from DISCO CLOWN – a track that the Italo–German production duo MUNK recorded together with their close friend and heavy London Gomma supporter MIDNIGHT MIKE. MIKE also wanted to do two new remixes that you can find on this record: both are very 70ies Disco. For the girls! On the flipside there is a remix for the boys by DIGITALISM. Their remix is definitely a heavy club monster: Dark, Bassdrum, Grunge Guitars.

WHOMADEWHO. Three guys from Denmark that have a very own sound:
They play DISCO. But not so much mixing it with (Post) Punk and New Wave like so many other bands right now. WhoMadeWho use lot more influences: from Surfrock to Folk to 70ies Funk. And sometimes it feels like the guys heard a dose of Italodisco and Cosmic tapes before recording.

One of the interesting things about WhoMadeWho is the fact that all the three members have totally different backrounds. Tomas Barfod – the drummer is known as one of Skandinavia’s best electronic DJ’s. Jeppe Kjelleberg , guitar player, used to live in NYC where he was established in the local Avantgarde Jazz scene. He even recorded an album with former Lounge Lizards guitar player DAVIS TRONZO. And Tomas Hoffing the bass player is also member of danish garage rock band Garbo.
