Mis Labios – the new single from Munk’s “The Bird and The Bird” album came out last week and is getting full support by London first league DJs such as Fatboy Slim, Horse Meat Disco, Annie Mac and many others. (Check the amazing Joyce Muniz and Black Van remixes).

After all the boring clishee piano house tracks of last year this song brings pianos and house on another level. Call it Acid Boogaloo, Barrio House or Latindisco. Its a heavy Latin Piano riff in the style of late 70ies New York Salsa that meets 90ies Acid sounds and nasty Spanish vocals. You ever heard a track like this?

The song (and video) is a tribute to Marseille. The dirty south french Port city where Mathias from Munk lives part time. The actors are 2 french professional actors, but in the end… surprise… But see for yourself..

The single Rue de Rome has been released on 1st April 2011 including remixes by Black Strobe, Mickey Moonlight, Cécile, etc.
