Only one year ago Jonas Telonius Imbery started to release his energetic, but very dirty & funky futuristic house music. This project is influenced by the early House and 90ies Euro/Disco-House and Techno aesthetics without being old fashioned. Far from it!

His first single Like What went straight the Top Ten in German Club Charts for couple of weeks the second one Disco Tec appears several weeks in the German Club Charts too. This new Telonius single was initially made for the “Buffet Libre” blog. Telonius chose Ian Dury’s classic “Hit Me With A Rhythm Stick. As more and more DJ’s started to ask for the tune and the version got massive response – Gomma decided to release it now. Check the remixes: Legendary German house producer Ian Pooley (Daft Punk’s favourite German producer). Bottin from Italy and new Australian shooting star Cassian from the Modular/BangGang scenario contributed remixes that will be on the final release.

With his project TELONIUS, Jonas Imbery is returning to his musical roots – early House & Disco Music. His inspired DJ-Sets convey a dense and rich musical texture, spanning from Frankie Knuckles’ Warehouse inspired Retro House and Loft-style Disco music to brand new club productions. Never sounding stuck in the past, but with both feet firmly based in the current musical streams of electronic club sound, which also shows in the productions for TELONIUS.
